The larger 8 ft. x 6 ft. Little Alexandra Cottage Deluxe is the perfect size for any backyard. Spacious, with 46 sq. ft. of play area. That’s enough room to set up play furniture. Your playhouse will be used by the children for many years to come. Easy to assemble, (3-4 hours) this playhouse is built to last. The beautiful covered front porch is great at providing shade , keeping the house comfortable even in the hot sun. The deck is made from cedar boards so it will always look great. Three cedar windows with shutters, a 54 in. Dutch door with shelf in the middle, 2 cedar flower boxes and the cedar roof trims are all included with your Little Alexandra Cottage. We use only premium cedar for all our playhouse components.
Completely water tight, the cedar shingled roof panels will keep the interior of the playhouse nice and dry. We are using #2 perfection cedar shingles for the roof. No compromises on quality. The playhouse you will receive is exactly what’s on the picture. The interior walls are painted white and the wood studs are rounded to make them smooth to touch and splinter free. The walls are covered using exterior grade plywood. They can be left natural and they will weather very nicely. You don’t need to add anything to the exterior to protect them.

Free shipping in the USA, to the nearest trucking depot. There is a depot in all major cities. You can pick up your new playhouse with a pick up truck or a utility trailer. The workers at the depot will load it up for you using their equipment.
We can ship your playhouse directly to your residence using our White Glove Delivery. The driver will bring your playhouse using truck equipped with a power tailgate. The playhouse will be left in a secure place like the driveway or your garage. The drivers are usually very nice and will try to be as accommodating as possible.

I purchased this very sharp looking playhouse for my grandkids in May 2017. It is delivered as a single large oversized pallet so let Home Depot deliver it! We first built a treated lumber deck as a foundation as the playhouse would be sited on the lawn. My son-in-law and I unpacked and assembled the house itself in about 6 hours. The assembly instructions are vague, so a experience with wood construction is useful. We used deck screws (no nails) to assemble the playhouse and predrilled all holes. The kids love it, and I feel proud to facilitate their outdoor play.

The finished playhouse is beautiful and looks much nicer than anything I could have designed and constructed from scratch. The simplicity of a pre-designed and pre-cut kit is a game changer, and I was pleased with the quality of this kit. I recommend it! All included pieces were cleanly and accurately cut. If you level your floor and you plumb your walls, everything will line up nicely. The cedar shingle roof is very attractive and is the main reason we chose this playhouse. The playhouse came with a handful of nails but I opted for 3” construction screws for the frame and a pneumatic nailer for the trim installation. The floor was constructed of ½” plywood. I added additional ½” plywood for long-term floor strength and stability when leveling. I had help with the roof panels, but the rest can be done by one person.

This house is not a cedar one. It has a couple of components. The louvers are solid and do not close. It is cute once assembled. That is quite easy to do.

Absolutely love this cottage. We purchased this for our 3 children (ages 2, 4, and 11) and they all enjoy it! Putting it together was fairly easy since they have done all the work for you. All the parts and pieces were included, no damage to any of the pieces. The hardest and longest part was leveling the ground where it was going. I recommend you do this while waiting for your order to arrive. This cottage has brought so many smiles, from them realizing what we were building, to putting their kitchen and grocery store toys in there for them to play with. We purchased the paint, however, it’s just so cute as is that we haven’t brought ourselves to painting it yet. We have had a blast decorating and playing with their new home!

Our three girls (ages 3, 5, 7) really love their new playhouse!! My husband and nephew put this together, although the instructions were not as detailed as they would have liked they were able to put this together in two days. Leveling the ground did take quite a bit of that time. We plan to paint this to be a replica of our own house in the next few weeks. Thanks for a great little cottage.

Great playhouse. The children love playing in it and putting table and chairs in it and playing house. The construction of house was easy to complete with two people. The material used to build this house is high quality and we plan to stain it to insure its longevity. Delivery was hassle free and came in pretty quick. Overall, great product that our kids will enjoy for years to come.

Great product, terrible instructions. It took my husband an hour to unpack and organize the materials. Then he and my Dad were able to put this together in 5 1/2 hours with the help of: a nail gun, power drill, screws instead of nails, and an extra layer of plywood for the floor. My Dad is a contractor by trade so having some knowledge around tools and construction is likely necessary. We’re painting and adding extras today. Overall our 5 and 3 year old already love it and can’t wait to play inside.
